Additional Year 8 Class Announced for 2027
Due to strong demand, Scots College is pleased to announce the addition of a new Year 8 class for 2027, giving more students the opportunity to benefit from the College's Middle School programme and more families the chance to pursue a Scots College education.
Year 8 students at Scots College are known individually, taught in small classes as part of the International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Programme, and placed into one of the College's eight Houses from day one, building friendships and a sense of belonging that lasts through to Year 13.
"We have seen significant interest in Year 8 enrolments and are delighted to be able to welcome more students to the College in 2027," says Will Struthers, Principal of the Middle School.
Families interested in joining Year 8 at Scots College in 2027 are encouraged to submit an Application for Enrolment. Those who have already submitted an Application for Enrolment for Year 9 in 2028 and would now like their child to be considered for Year 8 in 2027 can contact the enrolments team to register their interest.
For families weighing up this opportunity, our Principals' Tours running from Monday 7 to Thursday 10 September are the ideal next step. These small-group tours give prospective Year 8 families the chance to see our Year 8 students and teachers in action, explore the Middle School environment firsthand, and get a genuine feel for what your child's first year at Scots College would look like. Places are limited, so early booking is recommended.
