Position Specific Training

The Tottenham Hotspur Position Specific Training programme is open to Scots College senior boys and is led by Tottenham Hotspur’s Development coach, who is coming to NZ from their UK-based Academy.

• Open to Scots College senior boys who will be involved in the 2nd and 1st XI teams
• Takes place during Term 2, 2026.
• Dates: Tuesdays 3:40pm OR Thursdays 1:20pm
• Students recieve one 45 minute session per week. When registering, please indicate which day is their preference.
• Location: Scots College main field, or the Hodge if weather is poor.
• Limited spaces, so please register immediately.

These are small group sessions with personalised coaching and a focus on:

• Positioning and field awareness
• Improving weaker foot
• Different types of passes
• Shooting technique and finishing
• Movement off the ball
• Decision-making under pressure
• Scanning the game and reading opponents
• Ball control and first touch
• Tactical awareness and game intelligence

Costs

$350 incl GST per term (2026)
This includes all coaching for ten 45-minute sessions.
