Why a Scots College education

Small classes, every child known
Small class sizes and personalised learning mean our teachers know every student as an individual: their strengths, interests, and how they learn best.

An internationally recognised education
As an IB World School, we offer the Primary Years Programme in the Junior School and the Middle Years Programme in Years 7–10, alongside the New Zealand Curriculum.

Specialist teachers and spaces
Specialist teaching in the arts, Physical Education, Te Reo Māori, and more, with science laboratories, music studios, and the Creative and Performing Arts Centre.

Learning beyond the classroom
Camps, trips, sport, music, and service – including the Year 10 Community Project – help students grow in confidence and independence.

A place to belong
Every student joins a House, building friendships across year levels through good-natured competition in sport, music, and more. Where possible, families share the same House.

One College, Years 0–13
One College with three schools – Junior, Middle, and Senior – so children can continue their journey on one campus right through to Year 13.
