Scots College Foundation

The Scots College Foundation acts as a catalyst for philanthropy, providing resources and fostering partnerships that support the educational excellence and transformative opportunities provided by Scots College.

Established in 1983, the Foundation is a registered Charitable Trust, with a long-term intergenerational focus. Its key purposes are:

  • Stewards of the Foundation’s capital fund.
  • Promotion and Preservation of the special character of the College.
  • An enduring Scholarship programme that will enable broad access to the College.
  • Assistance with targeted capital projects.

Foundation Trustees work in partnership with College management to garner support from the wider College community, in order to provide the resources needed to ensure a secure financial base for the future of the College. The Scots College Foundation is chaired by Seby Reeves, Foundation Trustee and Scots Collegian.

Who We Are

The Foundation is an independent organisation governed by its own Board of Trustees, which meets quarterly. Every Trustee has a personal connection with the College as a Scots Collegian or as a current or former parent or staff member.

Trustees generously volunteer their time and expertise to oversee the long-term financial planning and management of the Foundation for the benefit of the College.

Foundation Scholarship Fund

The Foundation Scholarship Fund has been established for the sole purpose of guaranteeing the availability of scholarships to the College in perpetuity. The Fund is managed independently from the College by the Trustees of the Scots College Foundation, with all income generated used exclusively to fund scholarships.
