Boarding at Scots College
Boarding at Scots College is a very rewarding and enjoyable experience.
Students boarding at the College gain a number of important life skills. They develop greater independence and maturity. Their organisational skills expand. They learn to manage their time, and importantly learn to live with others and support each other. Many of the friendships developed at the Scots Boarding School last for life.
Scots College offers five and seven day boarding in Gibb House. Seven day boarders have two exeat weekends each term. Homestays are arranged through the College for those students unable to travel home. Weekly boarders depart on Friday afternoon (or Saturday after sport) returning on Sunday evening or early Monday morning.
Full and five day boarders are cared for by the resident Housemaster, Assistant Housemaster, Matron and tutors. All the staff live on campus. A close knit family atmosphere is fostered in this extended family environment.
The Boarding School at Scots College offers its students a well-supported learning environment, while also giving them the opportunity to establish life-long friendships.
We look forward to providing your son with an exceptional boarding experience.
