Christian is the Senior School Principal here at Scots.

Christian started his teaching career at King’s High School in Dunedin, where he taught both maths and economics. During his time there he was also the Assistant Head of Mathematics and a House Dean. Christian moved to Scots College to take up the position of Head of Mathematics and has since had various roles within the senior management focussing on pastoral care and operations as well as timetable and curriculum delivery.

With almost 30 years of teaching experience, Christian understands the importance of strong positive relationships in education, and remains committed to the pastoral care of all students.

Christian enjoys sport; he has been involved in coaching and managing volleyball and basketball, and can often be seen supporting other school teams and groups. Christian is chair of the Pipe Band Committee and has a son at Scots College who plays the bagpipes.
