Success at NZ Youth Jazz Festival

Scots musicians made their mark at the National Youth Jazz festival held in Tauranga the week before Easter, coming home with four awards including a gold medal for the Scots College Jazz Band, silver medal for the Jazz Tortoises combo, and most outstanding instrumentalists trophies for Chester Bodman and Luke Sutton.

A super effort from all musicians who showed incredible musicianship, focused skill and great jazzitude. Particularly for a first time at the National Youth Jazz finals. Enormous congratulations are due to the Jazz Band members and Mike Ashton for his expert leadership.
