Year 13 – Mother & Son Dinner
This event follows on from the very successful father and sons breakfast we held in Term 1 2019 and will again feature a guest speaker. As we have traditionally done at this dinner we will hear from an inspirational woman and give the audience an opportunity to ask questions.
This year we are delighted to have Sarah Bacon as our speaker, Sarah Bacon practiced law for 17 years in Wellington and specialised in media law. At the age of 40, she decided to transform her work life, leaving the law, taking on a Master of Business Administration and then starting Velettà, a natural skincare brand. Sarah is also involved in several charities and runs Forward Gear, a clothing programme supported by Scots College parents. She firmly believes that we should consider having multiple careers during our lives, that a good work/life balance is the key to happiness and that it is incumbent on us all to give back.
