Matt has returned to Scots after first teaching here from 2007 to 2015 where he had a number of roles including Director of Boarding and various other senior leadership roles. He has worked in a range of co-educational and boys’ only schools. His teaching subjects are history and classical studies. Outside of the classroom, he is married to Katherine and they have four children. He has a passion for the outdoors, whether skiiing or tramping.
