Discussing the Seatoun Ferry Service

We will be holding a meeting at the College on Wednesday 8 February, 7pm in the College Hall following the recent announcement by East by West Ferry to discontinue their service to Seatoun.

The purpose of this meeting is provide the opportunity for you to discuss this change with the following people who have confirmed their attendance:

• Mat Jonsson – East by West Ferries
• Relationship Manager – GWRC/Metlink
• Tim Brown – Eastern Ward Councillor
• Chris Bishop – National Party Spokesperson for Infrastructure
• Paul Eagle – MP for Rongotai

The Mayor was also invited but has advised she is unable to attend, however some of the Eastern Ward Councillors may attend in her absence.

College Staff will also be in attendance to outline possible alternative transport options. Management from the College will moderate the meeting and we ask that you be respectful to all those who attend.

There will be an invite extended via social media to anyone from the wider Miramar and Seatoun community who wish to attend.
