Do you know what your kids are doing online? What do you know about online grooming and how do you protect your children from it? What is Cyberbullying and how can you identify and prevent it? Sexting – it happens across all ages – are you prepared to deal with it?

In this modern and ever changing society, technology is growing at an exponential rate and so are the risks.  As parents, are you fully confident that you are aware of what your child(ren) are doing online and the risks and challenges they face with technology.

Susan’s information and entertaining session for Parents will open your eyes to the pitfalls our children could fall into online and how you can help navigate this tricky landscape with your child(ren). She will cover the positive benefits of technology as well as what parents need to be aware of and will provide you with an opportunity to find out all you’ve ever wanted to know about cyber-safety.

Targeted specifically at parents with children of all ages, this is an evening NOT to be missed. Susan McLean is Australia’s foremost expert in the area of Cyber-safety and young people. A former police officer, she has conducted extensive research into cyberbullying and has completed advance training in cyber-safety in the USA and UK. She is an advisor to schools, elite sporting teams and both the Australian State and Federal Government.
