Old Boy makes the grade as an All Black
Scots College Old Boy, Victor Vito, achieved a major ambition he shared with many others when he was named in the All Blacks by coach Graham Henry over the weekend on 29/30 May.
Vito has been a massive talent on the rugby field for the New Zealand 7's side where he played on the wing and the Hurricanes Super 14 squad where he played on the side of the scrum
Victor Vito commenced his Scots College education in the Preparatory School in Year 10 as a scholarship student. He repaid the investment many times over with both his sporting and academic achievements and the whole Scots College community is immensely proud of him.
Victor completed a Classics degree at Victoria University in 2009 and continues his legal studies with the objective of gaining a law degree as well.
The Old Boys Association believes Victor Vito epitomises the aspirational "whole" man idea which is so strongly embedded in the school's vision and culture.
