An invitation to all Auckland Old Boys

The Headmaster, Graeme Yule, invites all Auckland Old Boys to join him at one of two functions the College is arranging in Auckland on Friday 1 October. There will be no charge for these.

  1. Morning tea for Senior Old Boys at 11am in the Commodore Room, Romford’s at the Tamaki Yacht Club, 30 Tamaki Drive. Wives and partners are also very welcome.
Whilst this is a good opportunity for Old Boys to meet up with each other over a cup of tea, Old Boy John Feast (Scots College Foundation) and Grant Dennis (College Board Chairman) will also attend to speak about the College fundraising campaign.
  2. Evening drinks function at Rydges Harbourview Hotel, on the corner of Federal & Kingston Streets, from 6pm – 8pm.

The recently launched All-Round Man Campaign at the College is pivotal to the future progress of Scots, and in support of this our presentation will incorporate this fundraising focus.

The College is embarking on two major building projects: the Covered Sports Centre and the Creative and Performing Arts Centre, which will enable students to receive the full Scots educational experience within leading-edge facilities.

As it was during your time at the College, sport is still very much a key part of a Scots education. The new Covered Sports Centre will provide a world-class indoor facility that will allow sports programmes to continue, irrespective of Wellington’s weather. The College has many talented young sportsmen and this facility will enable Scots to nurture this.

The Creative and Performing Arts Centre will be purpose built to provide specialist areas for Music, Drama and Art as well as additional space for Creative Technology, bringing additional classrooms across the campus into one building shared by all of the boys at the College.

We trust you will enjoy our presentation and look forward very much to catching up with you all at one of the above functions.

Please RSVP by Monday 27 September to Ann Walker, Scots College, Tel: (04) 803 0590, or walkera@scotscollege.school.nz for catering purposes.

Should you be aware of any Old Boy in this group who has been inadvertently omitted from our invitation list, please contact Ann Walker and we will make contact with him immediately.
