School life for Preparatory boys
A student attending Scots Preparatory experiences sound academic progress, where students are inspired to maximise their learning abilities and innate potential. The school also takes responsibility in all areas of a boy’s development, including cultural, physical and character. Many of the students continue through from the Preparatory School to the Secondary School.
The Scots College Preparatory School has specialist staff and a range of specialist facilities separate from the Secondary School, including its own science laboratory, music studio, visual art & design studio, library and digital media centre. The school is fully networked, both cabled and wireless, with computers in teaching areas supporting the digital media centre.
All classrooms, the science laboratory and the visual art and design studio have a soundfield system installed that creates an ideal listening environment for students.
The Preparatory School has access to a full gymnasium, lecture theatre and assembly hall.
