School Life

A student attending Scots Prep experiences a sound academic environment where students are inspired to maximise their learning abilities and innate potential. The school works in partnership with parents to ensure that all areas of a boy’s development, including cultural, physical and character are maximised. Most of our students continue through from the Prep School to the Middle and Senior Schools.

The Scots College Prep School has specialist staff and a range of specialist facilities separate from the Middle and Senior Schools, including its own music studio, visual art & design studio, library and Spanish teaching room. The school is fully networked, both cabled and wireless, with desktop computers in teaching areas. We also have pods of laptops and iPads for students to use.

All classrooms, the science laboratory and the visual art and design studio have a soundfield system installed that creates an ideal listening environment for students.

The Prep School has access to a science laboratory, a full gymnasium, a covered sports centre, a lecture theatre and assembly hall.
