Water Polo - Results from the Term 1 Competition
Three Scots teams played in the Intermediate & Primary Schools Water Polo Competition for Year 6-8 students during Term 1.
Thirty boys from a variety of swimming backgrounds made up the teams. For the first time this term the A grade were able to play their games in a full pool, rather than half pool, which is a fantastic lead-up to playing College Water Polo.
After ten weeks of games Scots 1 unfortunately had to default the final because of being at camp. They finished second in the A grade and will have another opportunity to meet their old rivals again in Term 4.
Scots 2 finished fourth in their grade after a term with more wins than losses. Scots 3, a team with many new boys to Water Polo were in a large grade and while they sustained several losses they were improving all the time.
Many thanks to the teachers and parents who supported the teams, and a special thank you to Chris Mark who has coached the Scots 3 team.
This competition will resume in Term 4 and there will be an opportunity for other boys who are interested in playing to join.
