Senior Water Polo team placed 10th in National Championships
The senior water polo team has had a great season. The team is ably lead by Geraint Breese who has been a very strong player this year. He scored the winning goal in extra time against Hutt Valley High School in the semi finals of the Wellington Regional competition to put them through to the finals. The team lost 6-7 against Wellington College in a nail biting final where the result could have gone either way.
They were placed 13th in the North Island Senior Water polo championship. They improved on this to be placed 10th in the National Championships held in the April school holidays. James Botherway in year 9 has trialled for the NZ under 15 water polo team.
