Re-Draft Writing Competition

The Re-Draft Writing Competition is now in its 10th year and the deadline for entries is 30th September.
Re-Draft allows entrants to shine in more than one genre and to write with no restriction on subject matter, word count, style or diction. The competition regularly attracts the best teen-aged writers in the country, for whom the goal of appearing in a reputable publication still means much. We publish the work of 30-50 emerging writers each year, and some have built impressive portfolios of published work by winning places several years in a row.
The entry form for 2010 is in the back of Fishing for Birds, the 9th book in the Re-Draft series edited by James Norcliffe and Tessa Duder. People need access to the book not only to photocopy the form but also to see what standard of writing is required to succeed in a top-level competition.
Book sales are our sole source of income for this project, We thank the majority of you, who already support us, and welcome enquiries from schools and libraries that are not yet involved.
