This open matt class offers an extensive introduction to the principles of Pilates, using small equipment, and is suitable for all levels of fitness. Instructor Phil Ward combines modern, evidence-based physiology with Joseph Pilates’ original repertoire and philosophy.  Phil and his partner Elaine run local studio Pilates Flow, and will be taking these additional classes on a Wednesday night at Scots as an extension of their studio timetable.

This course will benefit:

  • Body Awareness
  • Flexibility
  • Coordination
  • Deep muscles used for stability and control

Weekly classes commence:  15 Feb, 2012

Wednesday,  6.00pm – 7.00pm

The Hodge Sports Centre (Mezzanine Floor)
Scots College, Monorgan Road, Strathmore, Wellington

Cost:
Casual : $18.00 (Scots College Parent / Staff $16.00)
Concession (10 week) : $150.00 (Scots College Parent / Staff $140.00)
