Middle School Inter-House Tug-o-War
The first Middle School Inter-House competition got underway with the Junior Tug-o-War on Thursday 16 March at 1.05pm.
Teams were required have 2 students from each year level of the Middle School (Years 7-8). Being the first of the Junior House competitions there was the unknown factor as to which House would have the goods. Selection of teams saw Senior Students holding trials down on the field earlier in the week to ensure they could field their strongest side.
On the day Senior House students were present corralling their troops for the ensuing challenge ahead and title of champion ahead. The support was incredible and after three rounds it was acknowledged that Glasgow is going to be the team to beat as we head into the finals later in the term.
The Year 7 and 8 students thoroughly enjoyed being involved and have already developed a great sense of pride and rivalry towards their House.
