Joshua Snowdon-Poole in U12 NZ Tennis
U12’s Tennis Nationals played in Wellington over the last week.
Joshua Snowden-Poole (Year 8) was seeded 7 but he outdid his ranking to finish in 5th place (out of 56 boys) in singles & 3rd place in doubles. His only loss in the singles was at the hands of the boy who went on to win the tournament and the match against Josh was by far his toughest conquest. Josh only went down 6-2, 7-6 tiebreak 13-11!
This places Joshua in the top 5 boys aged Under 13 years in NZ & in consideration for National Training Squads/teams going forward.
