Important Announcement
Dear College Community,
It is with regret, that I am writing to inform you that the Principal of our Middle School, Mr Peter Cassie, has been appointed to the position of Principal of St Kentigern Boys' School in Auckland, commencing Term 4 2012.
We will of course miss Peter and Sally greatly, however this rare opportunity and promotion sees them return to Auckland to be closer to their family, and is the realisation of Peter's long-term goal to run his own school.
As you will know, Peter has achieved a huge amount during his 12 years' service at Scots College, and has been key in many of our decisions and developments. In speaking to him I know he has mixed emotions about his move, on one hand excited by the new opportunities it presents, while on the other hand being reluctant to leave a place he now calls home.
We wish Peter and Sally all the very best for their move, and know they will be missed.
We have commenced the search for a replacement and are committed to finding an equally dynamic and charismatic leader for our newly-formed Middle School, and will keep you informed as to our progress.
