Headmaster's briefing on Massey admissions
Dear Staff, Students and Parents
No doubt you will be aware that given recent Government policy on tertiary funding the number of places in tertiary institutions has been capped resulting in many students missing out on a place. I am forwarding you a link from Massey University to this effect which explains the new entry policy. In addition to this I have also spoken to Year 13 regarding the importance of their academic results. In short most of our students achieve well and will therefore be unaffected but those marginal entry students and those wishing entry to highly sought after courses need to ensure they give themselves every chance by obtaining the best possible grades.
