2009 NCEA and Scholarship results

2009 saw outstanding results for Scots College. Our cohort of 85 students achieved 32 Scholarships of which 4 were at the Outstanding level which places the student in the top 0.5% of their cohort nationally.

Of special note were:

• Last year's Dux Max Biggs, 5 scholarships 2 of which were outstanding

• Proxime Accessits Alex Kao, 4 scholarships, and Alex Chung 3 scholarships

• Nicholas Bingham, 3 scholarships 2 of which were outstanding

• Jamie Gawith, 3 scholarships

• While 2 scholarships were achieved by Ben Atkins, Seb Hampson and Paul Mathews

Our results are very pleasing and show the success of our students. Of particular note are the number of endorsements which indicate our students are not only passing but passing with high quality qualifications.
