Transport under National COVID Levels
Transport under COVID Level 2.
This page contains key information about our transport plans as we move through different national COVID Levels. We will use this page to update the community on changes to transport arrangement across the region which impact upon our families.
We are very much looking forward to the full reopening of our College on Monday 18th. We know, however, that there are significant challenges ahead for our whole region, as more people head back to their schools and workplaces. The situation which we all find ourselves in is dynamic and subject to change, often at short notice.
All families are reminded of the need to provide information about which transport option their son or daughter will be using from 18th May. This is to help us manage our contact tracing plan and meet Level 2 obligations established by various government ministries. Please follow the registration links at the bottom of this page and provide details before school begins on Monday 18th May. The Scots College transport link also includes the ability to purchase your child’s transport pass.
Metlink has passed information onto schools about the operation of services at Covid Level 2. The College received this update on Wednesday 27th May. Metlink has also produced a You Tube clip which goes through some of the most important points. Information from Metlink can be found here
We have received a new notification from East by West Ferry Services. From Tuesday 2nd June, they will begin running their full service, including the morning drop off at Seatoun. Students will no longer be picked up at Queen’s Wharf. Instead, the Island Bay Tranzit service will pick students up from Seatoun wharf in the mornings. Thank you for your patience over the last week or so
