Tuition fees are paid at the beginning of a calendar year for the full year.

All tuition fees must be direct credited to the Scots College Trust Account following a student being offered a place at the College. When monies have been received a student will be provided with authority for an application to be made for a visa.

1. Introduction

The Tuition Fees and other costs for international students at Scots College for the 2010 academic year are detailed below.
All costs are quoted in New Zealand Dollars and include (GST) Government Goods and Services Tax where required.

3. Tuition Fees (per year)

Tuition fees are paid at the beginning of each calendar year for the full year. If a student commences study at Scots College part way through a year, fees for the remainder of that calendar year only are to be paid.
In cases where a student lives with a Parent or Legal Guardian who is/will be resident in NZ during the time that the student attends the College, a reduced fee may be payable

5. Disbursements

There is a range of disbursements that will be required during the year. The following are indicative costs for the year. At the end of the year unspent monies will be returned to the student’s parents.

6. Expenses and Charges not included

There is a range of expenses and charges not identified.
These items will be charged to the student’s account or are to be provided by the parents. Examples of these are:

  • Airfares to and from New Zealand
  • Music, Sport, Speech and Drama fees and costs
  • Other clothing costs
  • Additional holiday expenses and or travel.
