January School Holiday Programme
Monday 8th – Friday 26th January
Save time and book online here!
Available Sessions: We even offer a half day option ($25) and a full day option ($40)!
Morning; 8:30 am – 1:00pm, afternoon; 1:00 pm – 5:30 pm or full day; 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.
Children need to wear fitted, flexible clothing that they can be active in. We recommend that children bring a drink bottle and a packed lunch (containing more food than they usually would have) as we find that kids require more food during an active day at Bigair Gym!
Our child classes focus on developing physical competence and confidence through skill development and play-based learning (because everything’s a game right?!).
Designed for children between the ages of 5-11, this program is all about giving young children the opportunity to move their bodies in ways that are natural and instinctive to them. Like they are in a backyard, the bush or on the beach – running, jumping, balancing and climbing, crawling under and over things, throwing and catching and generally having the time of their lives. Classes also provide an opportunity for them to develop attributes like teamwork, mindfulness, spacial awareness and coordination.
We’ve developed a few levels to measure progress, and encourage your child to develop skills that will stay with them for life. Much like a swim school teaches swimming, we teach the skills of movement.
A large part of our program is built around safety. We teach skills that build the confidence to try new things, while giving the rambunctious child some self awareness in situations that may put them in danger.
