Ferry to Seatoun – important information from East by West below
We’d like to advise that City Cat will be coming out of the water for important scheduled maintenance and repairs at the end of next week. Please see their message below:
Unfortunately, we were not able to schedule this for school holidays (as per usual), so we do apologise for any disruption this will cause. We will be therefore be operating to the below restricted timetable from Friday 8th March – Sunday 17th March inclusive:
Weekday departing Queens Wharf: AM: 6.20, 7.15, 8.20, 10, PM: 12, 2.05, 4.30, 5.30, 6.30
Weekday departing Days Bay: AM: 6.50, 7.45, 8.45, 10.40, PM: 12.45, 3.15, 4.55, 6, 6.55
Weekend timetable will run to normal schedule, however the Harbour Explorer will not run.
This means there will be no sailings in or out of Seatoun during this time. Our full timetable will resume Monday 18th March.
This will have significant impact on boys using the ferry from Days Bay. We have made arrangements to re direct the Seatoun ferry shuttle whilst the service from Days Bay is impacted between the 8th and 17th March 2019.
The shuttle will pick up boys from the ‘East by West’ office on Queen’s Wharf and then drive to Scots College in the mornings. It is scheduled to pick up boys who catch the 7.45am ferry from Days Bay and which arrives at Queen’s Wharf at 8.15am.
Boys who normally take the shuttle from Seatoun in the morning will be able to take the shuttle from Queen’s Wharf from 8th – 17th March during the week. Normal service should resume on Monday 18th March, both for the ferry and the shuttle.
