Transport

Transport to and from College for 2012

version 1, as at Dec 2011

General Bus and Rail Information

  1. Nearly all students now use a Snapper card. Students are able to get a school ID card that doubles as a Snapper Card and can be used to pay for public transport. 2011 cards are valid for 2012 unless the photo is out of date. New ID cards will be processed in week 1 and supplied a few weeks later.  The College provides students with the ability to top up these Snapper Cards at school.
  2. Please refer to the attached sheets for descriptions of various routes (92KB) which the buses are scheduled to follow.
  3. Rail passes may be purchased from the College Shop but must be ordered prior to the end of each term.

NB: Term 1 passes must be ordered by the end of Week 1 of Term 1. Parents/Boys may ring Mrs Saira Naran (3808536) at the College Shop prior to the start of term to order rail passes.

  4. As from Wednesday 1 February all school bus and shuttle services will resume.
  5. Scots boys should assemble well back from the footpath. It is expected that all boys will behave in an orderly manner.

Any boy reported for misbehaving on a bus may well be banned from using this form of transport.

Under no circumstances are Senior and Middle School students to travel on buses designated as Prep School only without permission.

  6. The afternoon buses for the Prep School depart at 3.25pm and buses for the Middle and Senior Schools depart at 3.40pm. However, it is possible for Prep School boys to remain behind and catch the later bus which travels via Roseneath to the Railway Station.

Churton Park and Crofton Downs Buses
