Enroling in Scots College Co-educational Senior School
Applications for girls Years 11, 12 and 13 from 2020 and Scots College Co-educational Senior School are open.
Welcoming girls to our Senior School is an exciting change for the College and a decision made after careful consideration to ensure all young women and men are provided with the best quality in education.
The College’s motto is “Virtutem Paret Doctrina” – let education build all-round character, where we develop well rounded students of substance. This is provided through our holistic education with a range of opportunities across academics, sporting, arts, leadership and service.
Below is information on the application and enrolment process and should you wish to discuss this further before applying we welcome you to join us at one of our Open Days and Information Evenings during the year or contact Headmaster Graeme Yule via Headmaster’s PA Maria Calcott at email@example.com.
The application and enrolment process is the same for all students. Once an application is received students will be invited for an interview with the Headmaster. Those offered a place will be asked to secure it by paying a non-refundable payment to secure the place which will be credit against the student’s first term fees.
Applications for girls in Years 11, 12 and 13 from 2020 are open. All application details and forms are available on the applications page.
How will places be offered?
The 60 places available across Years 11, 12 and 13. These will be allocated to domestic and international students, some of whom will board.
As well as the date of the application and the allocation among boarding and international places, we may prioritise students with siblings at the school, past family connections and those who live in the eastern suburbs, while ensuring the best fit for students and the College.
How many places will be offered in 2021 and beyond?
In 2021 an additional 60 places will be offered bringing the total number of girls to 120. We will again allocate a portion of these places amoungst boarding and international.
2022 will see our largest cohort. We will continue to offer 60 Year 11, 12 and 13 places and plan to formally review our enrolment policy at this point.
What happens if all places are filled?
With a limit in numbers we anticipate places to fill. If all places are full we will create a wait list and ensure we communicate with students interested if a place becomes available.
