Deputy Principal Pastoral Senior School

From 2020 Scots will be enrolling girls in its senior school, Years 11-13.  We anticipate that we will see around 150 girls attending the College by 2022.  This move is part of the College’s Future Focussed Learning strategy and includes significant curriculum changes and onsite developments.  This has created an opportunity for the appointment a new Deputy Principal Pastoral position commencing Term 4, 2019.   This position will have oversight of the pastoral care of all girls in the senior school as well as other negotiated senior leadership responsibilities.  We are seeking an experienced leader with the drive and enthusiasm to manage this exciting venture and support an environment where the students can excel.

The College is proud to be an IB (International Baccalaureate) World School, offering a dual pathway for its senior students of either NCEA or the IB Diploma.  The College is fully authorised for the delivery of all three programmes i.e. the Primary Years Programme, the Middle Years Programme and the Diploma Programme.

Our successful candidate will have had significant middle or senior management experience with full involvement in all aspects of life in a school.  They be well used to a dynamic environment where the wellbeing of the students is paramount and pursue excellence in all they do.
