Frequently Asked Questions
When are lessons held?
Instrumental and vocal tuition is held during normal school hours. The lessons are 30 minutes and on a rotating timetable so the boys are not missing the same lesson each week. Some lessons are available after school, but you will need to ask your instrumental music teacher directly about this.
Where are lessons held?
Lessons are held either in the practice rooms in the Aitken Building, over at the Music Department in Strathmore or below the boarding house. Your son's instrumental music teacher will be able to inform you where his lesson will take place.
Can I hire instruments from the College?
The College does not have instruments available for hire. Please contact Steve Davey at Music Works on (04) 3897012 for information on hiring instruments. Alternatively, you can ask your son's instrumental music teacher for advice on this.
