Formerly the Chess Club, the Scots College Academy of Games has aimed to extend the students' knowledge of games of particular brilliance and longevity that sit well beside chess.  We have attempted to foster the growth of 3 other games in particular Chinese Chess (Xiangqi), Shogi (Japanese Chess) and the ancient and truly sublime board game Go (aka Weiqi or Baduk).  Many students have played thesegames growing up and it is fantastic to tap into their skill and knowledge.  Chess is by far the best known of these games and thus is still number one.  The giant chess set is also very popular when it is out.
