Junior Water Polo Team advances to the Finals

The Scots College Junior Water Polo team has advanced to the final of the Wellington Competition, defeating St Bernards 16-6 at Wellington Aquatic  Centre yesterday.  The win puts them in good shape to defend the title they won last year, and extended their season-long unbeaten streak.

Senior Water Polo team placed 10th in National Championships

The senior water polo team has had a great season. The team is ably lead by Geraint Breese who has been a very strong player this year. He scored the winning goal in extra time against Hutt Valley High School in the semi finals of the Wellington Regional competition to put them through to the finals. The team lost 6-7 against Wellington College in a nail biting final where the result could have gone either way. 

Prep Water Polo update

Scots 1 beat SFDS Dolphins to come 3rd in their grade.

Scots 2 beat TKKM Mooks to come 5th in their grade.

Scots 3 were beaten by an older St Marks team, finishing 2nd in their grade.

 

Term 1 Water Polo produced some very close games.

Prep School Water Polo will resume in Term 4.
