Results from the North Island Secondary Schools Track and Field Championships held last weekend (6-7 April 2013) at Masterton are posted below.

We were very pleased with the strong performances of our boys at this high level of competition with athletes coming from all parts of the North Island to compete on the new track in Masterton.  Sam Pinson came 2nd in the Senior Boys High Jump with 1.93m and in the same event Ben Hannan jumped 1.80m.

Ricky Kiddle and Malo Manuao competed in the 12 and 13 year old inter-provincial athletics completion over the Easter break in Timaru.

The competition is points based where each athlete competes in four events which must include both track and field.

This year Wellington were successful in winning this competition and is only the second time Wellington have been successful in its 15 year history.

Ricky had three personal best times/distances out of the four events and both boys competed strongly.

Congratulations to 8 athletes selected to represent Wellington and compete in the North Island Championships in Masterton this weekend (6 and 7 April 2013)

The CSW Regional Athletics Championships took place last 14 March at Newtown Park, where Scots College won a number of titles:
