Speech and Drama & Public Speaking 2012

(Year 7 - Year 13 only)

The aim of Speech and Drama and Public Speaking classes is to give the student the ability to express themselves with clarity, confidence and courtesy. The skills covered are vocal development, drama, reading aloud, poetry speaking, public speaking, extempore talks, impromptu talks, improvisation and literature appreciation. These are valuable skills which will develop students’ confidence and give them sound oral skills for their future personal, social and career paths.

Prep School Old Boys' Speech Competition

The Prep School Old Boys’ Speech Competition finals are to be held in the Lesley Shelley Lecture Theatre on Monday 26 September.  Middle Syndicate Finals will be held at 9.00am and Senior Syndicate Finals at 9.40 am.  Parents are welcome.
