Three School Model Implementation process
It is proposed to carry out the restructuring in three distinct phases. The timings are indicative and may vary as we commence the process.
Stage 1 – Executive
The proposal is to restructure the current roles of the Headmaster, Principal of the Preparatory School and Business Manager to create the organisational structure outlined below. These positions would be filled by a mixture of external and internal advertising as well as the reconfirmation of staff into new positions.
Timeline
November 2010
Once senior appointments are made and responsibilities allocated, these managers will undertake implementation responsibilities within their areas of the overall implementation plan. This will include the structure and nature of the proposed committees which will be implemented as part of stage 2. Please note these committees have a set of accountabilities which may form part of a role but are not roles in themselves.
Stage 2 - Senior Management
This stage focuses on the senior management structure needed to run the three schools as well as the Commercial and Business Support areas.
Timeline
It is proposed to have this consultation document to staff for their consideration by early February, with a feedback and consideration timeline to finalise the structure by the end of Term 1, 2011.
Stage 3 - Middle Management
This stage focuses on the middle management structures, academic and pastoral, needed to run the three schools. It also includes the sub-structures for the Commercial and Business Support areas.
Timeline
It is proposed to have this consultation document to staff for their consideration by the start of Term 2, with a feedback and consideration timeline to finalise these appointments by the start of Term 3, 2011.
