Senior School Scholarship Applications

The Scots College Senior School Scholarships applications are now open for all students entering Years 11 to 13 in 2021. All scholarships are open to female and male students. To apply please read the information below and fill in the applicable form linked at the bottom of the page.

Applications close 5pm Monday 9 August.

Application Details

    IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

    All applications must be accompanied by a covering letter from the applicant outlining their reasons for applying for the scholarship. Once applications have been reviewed, students will be shortlisted and may be invited for an interview (all applicants will be informed of the decision regarding the scholarship at a later date).

    The value of the scholarships is a proportion of the tuition fee. The tenure of the scholarship is closely monitored, with a review at the end of each academic year. Should a student not be meeting their obligations, the scholarship could be withdrawn. 

    The Board reserves the right not to award any or all of the scholarships offered.

    A one off payment of $25 is required to complete your scholarship application. This is per candidate not per scholarship.

    Academic Scholarship

    An Academic Scholarship may be awarded to an external or current student entering Years 11-13 in 2021, who displays outstanding academic aptitude and ability. This scholarship is provided to allow the opportunity for talented academics to study in an environment that encourages and supports their passions and aspirations. Students must have the ability to contribute to the wider College life through their involvement and commitment to academia, service and leadership. The value of the scholarships is a proportion of the tuition fee for one to three years (depending on year entry level).

    Boarding Scholarship

    A Boarding Scholarship may be awarded to an external student entering Years 11-13 in 2021. This scholarship is provided to allow the opportunity for students to live in a supportive and caring environment whilst working hard to achieve their goals in the fields of academia, sport and culture. Students must have the ability and willingness to contribute significantly to the life of Gibb House as well as the wider College. The value of the scholarships is a proportion of the tuition fee for one to three years (depending on year entry level).

    General Excellence Scholarship

    A General Excellence Scholarship may be awarded to an external or current student entering Years 11-13 in 2021, who has the ability to contribute to College life in one of the following areas – academic, spiritual, cultural, sporting, service/leadership. The value of the scholarships is a proportion of the tuition fee for one to three years (depending on year entry level).

    International Baccalaureate Scholarship

    An International Baccalaureate Scholarship may be awarded to an external or current student entering Year 12 in 2021. This scholarship is provided to support a student who wishes to complete the International Baccalaureate Diploma, and who displays all-round excellence in academic, sport and/or cultural fields. The value of the scholarship is a proportion of the tuition fee for two years.

    Lee Campbell Realising Potential Scholarship

    A Lee Campbell Realising Potential Scholarship may be awarded to an external or current student entering into Year 11-13 in 2021, who has the ability to contribute to College life in one of the following areas – academic, spiritual, cultural, sporting and service/leadership. The value of the scholarships is a proportion of the tuition fee for one to three years (depending on year entry level).

    Music Scholarship

    A Music Scholarship may be awarded to an external or current student entering Years 11-13 in 2021, who displays outstanding musical ability. This scholarship is provided to allow the opportunity for talented musicians to study in an environment that encourages and supports their passion and talent to perform in, contribute to, and excel in the field of music. Students must have the ability to contribute to the wider College life through their involvement and commitment to academia, service and leadership. The value of the scholarships is a proportion of the tuition fee for one to three years (depending on year entry level).

    Pipe Band Scholarship

    A Pipe Band Scholarship may be awarded to an external or current student entering Years 11-13 in 2021. This scholarship is provided to allow the opportunity for talented pipers or drummers to study in an environment that encourages and supports their passion and talent to perform in and contribute to the College’s Pipe Band. Students must have the ability to contribute to the wider College life through their involvement and commitment to academia, service and leadership. The value of the scholarships is a proportion of the tuition fee for one to three years (depending on year entry level).

    Scots College Football Academy Scholarship

    Football Academy Scholarships may be awarded to external students entering Years 11-13 in 2021. This scholarship is provided to allow the opportunity for talented footballers to join our Football Academy and study in an environment that encourages and supports their aspirations as a student athlete. As well as being talented footballers, students must have the ability to contribute to the wider College life through their involvement and commitment to academia, service and leadership. The value of the scholarship is a proportion of the tuition fee for one to three years (depending on year entry level).

    Tup Radford Science Scholarship

    A Tup Radford Science Scholarship may be awarded to an external or current student entering Years 11-13 in 2021, who displays outstanding scientific curiosity and ability. This scholarship is provided to allow the opportunity for talented scientists to study in an environment that encourages and supports their passion, talent and aspirations in the field of science. Students must have the ability to contribute to the wider College life through their involvement and commitment to academia, service and leadership. The value of the scholarships is a proportion of the tuition fee for one to three years (depending on year entry level).

    External Applications

    All external applications are required to complete an enrolment application as part of their scholarship application through the external application form accessed below. Should your scholarship application not be successful you will have the option to continue or withdraw your application for enrolment.

    If you are an external applicant who has already completed an enrolment form and have begun the enrolment process please complete the internal applications form. Your application will still be considered as an external application.
