Strategic Statement 2010-2014

The Board of Scots College has embarked on an ambitious programme of changes and enhanced facilities which will see the College grow to a roll of more than 900 by 2014. Details of the proposed changes are set out in the Strategic Plan (see link below).

Critical to the change is the decision to go to a 3-school model from 2011. The existing structure will be enhanced by the establishment of a Middle School for Years 7 to 10 (i.e. Form 1 to Form 4 for us Old Boys). The extended intermediate school will bridge the gap between the Prep School (Years 1-6) and the Senior School (Years 11- 13 or 5th to 7th Forms).

It’s the Board’s intention that Scots’ point of difference (small class sizes and individual student attention) will be further enhanced by this major development.

Accompanying the fundamental structural change is an equally ambitious campus development programme which includes a new Performing Arts Centre on the site currently occupied by the Drama Room, Smith lecture room, Uniform shop and Tuck Shop as well as a Covered Sports Centre where the cricket nets are.
