Support for Students representing Scots College
Policy on Parents’ Association support of Individuals selected to attend an event or to represent Scots College/Wellington at a National or International level.
Rationale
To assist students meeting the financial requirements of being selected as national representatives or selected to represent Scots College at a high level in their chosen sport, cultural pursuit or academic level. The costs of their involvement are often considerable and in many cases applications are made to the school by the student.
Purpose
By recognising the high level achieved by our students the College can offer financial support in assisting students to participate and achieve their goals.
Guidelines

Should the $5000 not be fully used in any given year the amount remaining will be carried over to the next financial year - Students who have gone through a rigorous selection process to be included in a national/international recognised competition or event as an individual can apply to the Headmaster for funding assistance.
a. Students will use the Application for Funding Assistance form (98KB). This is also available from the Headmaster’s PA. - Funding will be allocated on the basis of 25% of the actual costs up to a maximum of $500 per student per annum.
