Help us hit the right note!
This year’s Annual Giving 2012 project has a MUSICAL theme – we are seeking to purchase
- musical instruments for the College Music Department and
- new kilts for the College Pipe Band
Annual Giving 2012 is spread over just 6 weeks – commencing 19 July until the end of August.
We encourage each and every member of the Scots family to contribute online to this very special project – no matter what the amount of the gift it is participating in Annual Giving that is important. [Please note that all donations will generate a tax rebate].
- The Scots Music Department which teaches boys from all three schools, is flourishing – with the opening of the new Creative & Performing Arts Centre, there has never been as many boys wishing to play an instrument. The Music Department is looking to purchase additional musical instruments with your support. Costs on these range from $500 - $4000+
- The College Pipe Band is iconic to all things Scots – but in order to perform at its very best in Pipe Band competitions and at functions within the community, it needs to replace all of its kilts. Most of the current kilts are so old that they are falling apart. The cost involved is approximately $400 - $500 per kilt for a band of 20 – 25 members.
We invite you now as a parent, an Old Boy and as a member of our wider Scots family to give a gift that will immediately benefit your son or a boy at Scots during his time at the College. We thank you for your generosity.
