Welcome to Scots College

Graeme Yule

Scots College is an IB world school with a proud 100 year history of educating young men. Our core purpose is the development of All-round Character. Students at the College are provided with opportunities in many areas to develop their potential across academia, sport, culture, service and spirituality. At Scots College we provide an individualised education where every student is known and their educational needs catered for. We pride ourselves on our passionate teaching staff who deliver a world class education where students thrive now and in their futures.

The College’s vision is to equip students with a future focussed education and we recognise that working in groups, thinking critically and solving problems are just as important as the knowledge we give them. As part of providing a future focussed education Scots College Board of Governors recently announced it is making changes to the Senior School. From 2019 the College will reduce the amount of assessment and testing in Year 11 to allow for more future focussed skills. In the following year (2020) we will welcome girls to the Senior School becoming a co-educational Senior School in Years 11, 12 and 13. You can read more in the Future Focussed Learning at Scots section of our website.
